To increase the energy penetration from renewable energy resources, Parker Bangladesh (“Parker”) and Sumitomo Corporation (“Sumitomo”) are currently developing a 200 MW floating solar PV power plant in Bangladesh for the purposes of selling electricity over long term power purchase agreements with the Bangladesh Power Development Board. The aim of the project is to sell electricity over long term power purchase agreements (PPA) with the Bangladesh Power Development Board. A site has been preliminary selected to set up the floating solar power plant.
As part of the planning for developing the solar project, a Cadastral survey for the proposed site at Baigram, Balarampur, Banshpukur, Baidyanathpur, Gopalpara, Kalupara, Panchgharia, Patigram, mouza of Hamidpur Union and Parbatipur Upazila in Dinajpur District of Rangpur Division needs to be conducted. EQMS Consulting Limited has been appointed as the consultant to perform the Boundary & Area Survey, Land Documentation Verification for Grid Tied Solar PV Project (200 MWac) at Barapukuria, Dinajpur, Bangladesh.
